ages 9 to 11 who have previous training in ballet, lyrical &/or jazz (preferable

designed  class for those who are about to transition from our Recital Program
to our Performance Classes.  It's also perfect for those new to our studio who
have had years of  previous training elsewhere.  This class follows our
Performance Class outline, without having to take a technique class.
Ballet, Lyrical & Jazz technique will be taught, as well as, choreography for the
concert designed to enhance the skill level.
Must be approved  or invited by an instructor to enroll.  Please ask.

Performance Class Information:
What is a PERFORMANCE CLASS?  Performance based curriculum for dancers
interested in learning choreography (& the art of performing) which will be
showcased in our annual ArtBeat Concert (mid-June).
Performance Classes are offered in HIP HOP, Lyrical & Jazz for
ages 12 thru adult.
PERFORMANCE CLASS Requirements:  In order to be included in the
Performance Class, dancers must be enrolled in the Technique Class that
compliments the Performance Class you wish to be a part of.  In other words,
if you'd like to take
Lyrical Performance then you'd also need to be registered
for
Lyrical Technique.  You must be willing to make a commitment for the full
length of the school year in order to be included in the Performance Class.
In this program, we will be working with only serious, focused & dedicated
dancers.  You must attend both the Technique & Performance Classes for the
entire length of the school year (if you have other after school activities that
you wish to participate in that keep you from attending this program then you
will not to able to be included).
There is a 2 month trial period for all
Performance Classes; if after the 2 months we feel that another class would
be best suited for the dancer we will suggest it at that time.  Additionally, all
dancers must have a least a full year's worth of dance technique under their
belt before registering for a Performance Class.

Program length September to June.
However, we will accept new students as late as January 1, 2012.
